This machine is engine 1ZZ. Oil consumption is associated with wear of piston rings. Repair is possible but not advisable. To prevent such sores engine must periodically give pissed away.
I do not know whether they are practicing installation contract engines, but it would be the most acceptable option. Was placed on Caldeen, Allyon, Fielder, the Crown of those years. The engine is not rare.

No, just turn the engine up to 4500-5000. In normal city 2500 no longer spins, the more she taxis (anything can happen, of course). Once a day kikdaun - the best prevention.
